Community Planning Team |
| | |
The Rouse Hill Regional Community Planning Team is formalised
as a peak body to facilitate better planning and service delivery
to residents within the Rouse Hill Development Area. Whilst
the organisation comprises non-government and community-based
organisations, key personnel representing a range of government
departments are participants.
Landcom and Lendlease (partners in the Rouse Hill Regional
Centre development) are also members of the Planning Team,
collaborating in various ways with the Planning Team to ensure
the Regional Centre project provides the very best of services
to residents in the north-west.
The planning team is involved in advocacy and lobbying, supporting
service organisations in the region, and works with government
departments (Health; Department of Community Services; Education
etc.) and other stakeholders to ensure that appropriate and
sufficient services are provided to the area.
Meetings of the Planning Team are hosted by MECC, with church
leaders involved.
